| "Louisa was a wonderful help to my team. Despite her busy schedule, she was willing to help out a group of college students with a paper by sharing her industry expertise. She was friendly, astute, and thoughtful. Throughout my interview with her, I realized that this is a woman who truly believe in and loves what she does, and genuinely likes to help people." | Ask Louisa' Wedding Questions You May Need Answered |
| Which Side of the church do I sit on? Left side of the church is for the bride's side Right side of the church is for the groom's side |
| What is the correct order for the attendants in the processional? This is the most traditional: The groom and best man, clergy are already at the altar Groomsmen first Bridesmaids Maid of Honor Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Bride walks with her father, other escort or by herself. Groomsmen will sometimes escort the bridesmaids If the ring bearer is older I send him down the aisle behind the best man so he knows where to stand. |
| Which side of the church does the bride walk up the aisle with her father? I get asked this one a lot, the way to remember you are closest to his heart. Traditionally, the bride walks on her father's left side. |
| What is the order of the recessional? Bride & Groom first Flower Girl & Ring Bearer Maid of Honor & Best Man Bridesmaids & Ushers in couple pairs Bride's mother is escorted out, followed by the groom's mother |
| What do I do with my engagement ring? This is a burning question depending on who you talk to. I had a groom tell me this: I say the engagement ring should stay on the brides left hand and the wedding band "seals the deal" I have to say I agree with him but on the other hand the band is closer to your heart. There is No real way it is up to you but the traditional way is to put the engagement ring on the right hand and after the groom puts your wedding band on you can slip on your engagement ring. |
| Who sits in reserved seats and how can I reserve seats/pews in the church or ceremony site? Reserved seats are for immediate family and anyone that is important to you. These seats are up front...best seats in the house Use bows, decorations, flowers or rope off the seats/pews that are reserved Let you ushers know who will be sitting in the reserved sections. |
| What is the Difference between a Wedding Package & A La Carte? This question is asked a lot and can be confusing. A Package is designed for people who do not want to spend time picking out all the items for their wedding. A Package is set up with "One" price and what is listed is what you get for that price and no changes can be made but you may add additional items on to the package for additional fees. There is "No breakdown prices" for the Package Price. If you do this it will become an "A La Carte Price" A La Carte, means you pick out each service individually and you pay that price for each service or item, plus the Wedding Planners Fees and any other additional fees including tax. |

| Who Pays For What? Bridesmaid luncheon (a member of the bridal party or family take care of this luncheon) "The Attendants" Wedding clothes Travel expenses Wedding gift for the newlyweds *Many couples now pay for their own wedding or the Bride and Groom may take care of all or part of the wedding expenses.
